The cakes are delicious and beautiful. Staff are polite and helpful. The environment is very relaxing and comfortable.

To be strictly fair, the staff’s attitude was decent and the food is wonderful. This review is simply to marvel at the rather unique Standard Operating Procedure this 5-star establishment has for handing over a cake order. Usually, you provide a name and number, and you're on your way. Here, however, my phone number was politely declined in favor of a 6-digit order number that I had to dig up. Unusual but fine. Next came the unexpected trivia round where I was asked to specify exactly what kind of cake I was there to pick up, honestly I don’t remember, it’s round. Finally, when the cake was brought out, I was told we needed to 'confirm the phone number.' I nodded and awaited, assuming they were verifying the order. Nope—I was asked to provide my phone number for a second time. It's a remarkably thorough system, though I wasn't quite prepared to need two-step verification just to pick up cake. Often called Hong Kong’s most luxurious “egg tart,” this beauty is really a refined French-style custard tart — elegant, delicate, and deceptively simple. • Topped with a butterfly-shaped sugar dusting — absolutely camera-ready • Golden, flaky puff pastry base with rich buttery aroma (though not my preferred texture) • The highlight for me? The custard Smooth, silky, made with Hokkaido cream and Tahitian vanilla — beautifully balanced and fragrant. • Slightly molten in the center when fresh — indulgent but heavy. A whole one might be too much for one person. It’s not a typical egg tart, nor should it be compared as one. It’s its own moment — refined, rich, and best savored slowly.
