Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the interaction left you feeling uncomfortable, as that was never our intention. When customers request changes to menu items, especially removing ingredients like sugar from smoothies, we do try to explain beforehand that the flavor and texture may be different from our standard recipe. Unfortunately, we have experienced situations in the past where customized items were refused or customers expected refunds after altering the menu, so our staff sometimes clarify this in advance to avoid misunderstandings. That said, we understand how the conversation may have come across, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We always want guests to feel welcomed and comfortable while visiting.
