Cafe Amazon, located just a stone’s throw from the Lao-Thai Bridge, is a convenient stop if you’re passing through. I dropped by while refueling at the gas station and decided to try their new taro drink—it was surprisingly good, smooth, and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and quick, making the visit pleasant. There’s plenty of seating if you want to relax for a bit, and parking is no problem at all with the large space available.
