Cafe Baan Mhee in the Platinum Makk Food Court is a relaxed little spot that makes for a pleasant break during a shopping trip. The interiors are extremely cute and give the place a charming, cozy feel. Food was decent, nothing fancy but solid enough for a casual meal. Service was quick, which was a nice plus when you just want to sit down and recharge without waiting around. The only real letdown is the extra charge they add for card payments. It would be better if they didn’t do that. Apart from that, it’s a comfortable place to pause and enjoy a simple meal in a cute setting. There was a good variety offered on the menu. The 2-pax tom yun noodles was highly recommended by staff and tasted good. It wasnt too spicy, but may be lacking in flavours for those who prefer stronger taste. The crab meat omelette was a bit dry and tough. Papaya salad was ok, a bit on the salty side. Service staff were very rude and wouldn’t let me order chicken curry. I tried ordering chicken curry twice and both times the server told me to order seafood ramen instead because it was their specialty. I was hungry and didn’t feel like arguing so I just said ok I’ll take the seafood ramen. Worse mistake of my day as I now have horrible food poisoning from the meal I didn’t even want. I wish I didn’t sit down at this restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
