Food wise is normal but based on the pricing, it is considered economical so 4 stars. Not much of service actually. Atmosphere is in the open with the elephant smell. Generally okay to visit and the pricing is economical to get interaction with Elephant. Time that can be spent there depends on how long you want to interact with the elephant. If you buy more time to go in and take photos, then can stay there longer. If only buying sugar cane to feed, the basket of 7 sticks depletes very fast. Entry so long as buy a basket and maybe a coffee. Photo taking inside with elephant posing will be additional charges. Price per person: ฿200–400

Elephant Café was a perfect stop for our family during our Chiang Mai trip. If you don’t want to spend an entire day at an elephant sanctuary or are looking for something shorter and more relaxed, this is honestly a great option. We had already done a full elephant sanctuary experience earlier in the trip, so this worked perfectly for us as a quick stop to feed the elephants, take photos, enjoy the atmosphere, and continue on with our day. The setting was peaceful, the elephants were beautiful to see up close, and the experience felt easy and convenient for families traveling with kids or babies. Staff were friendly and the stop itself didn’t require a huge time commitment, which we appreciated while traveling with children. Definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a simple elephant experience without committing to a full sanctuary day tour. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

DO NOT GO HERE! We came here as part of a trip to Land of the Angels & Sticky Waterfalls, admittedly we didn’t do enough research. I only looked into the trip itself, not the Cafe Elephant, if I had then I wouldn’t have booked. The elephants had rope round their neck, I’m sure they claim it’s for the elephants safety but in reality it’s for control. The area the elephants are kept on during the day is extremely small with no real room to move/ exercise. Our tour guide said the elephants can go down to the river whenever they want however it was a very steep drop from their little platform down to the path towards the river. It seems they only had access to water when their mahout gives it to them with a hose. The area they are kept in has no shade which is unfair. Upon arrival you are given the option to feed the elephants with a small bowl of fruit, I’m worried this is all they eat when tourists arrive. They should also be eating protein dense crops. I can’t comment on the cafe or the service, I didn’t purchase anything as I didn’t want to support this establishment. I’m not saying it’s the worst place you could visit however I’d much rather visit somewhere like Nature Elephant Park, albeit more expensive.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to clarify several incorrect statements in your review.The elephants here are not chained or tied with ropes around their necks. What you saw is a traditional bell necklace, which many elephants wear. It is simply an accessory and not used to restrain them.Our elephants are not confined to a small area. They move around the property and have access to the river. We also provide clean drinking water via hoses, which is actually safer and more hygienic than letting them drink directly from the river at all times.The elephants are cared for daily by experienced mahouts, with proper feeding, water, and supervision.We encourage visitors to ask questions during their visit so that they can better understand how elephants are actually cared for here.แหกตาดูด้วย กะดิ่งที่คอช้าง สีทองน้ำในแม่น้ำมันสะอาดหรอ ให้ช้างกินน้ำผ่านสายยางสะอาด
