What an entirely charming find. We were looking for a breakfast sip and nibble, and Cafe Franc presented itself. A visual treat coming in. Quaint, homey, and French-infused. Busts with French prose or poetry on the back, the Tricolor banner, and just so much français about it. We got a latte, a coffee, a raspberry scone, and a fig scone. Happy with all of them. The tables all have little writing books for doodling and drawing. Ours was filled up, so we couldn't add our own contributions, but it was very cool. The window by the bench was filled with mementos of customers gone by. English-friendly, cheery proprietors, great drinks and food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Can't ask for much more.
