During my seven weeks on Koh Lipe, Café Lipe truly became my second home. I ate there almost every day, and the food was simply fantastic – always fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly people who create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sitting under the beautiful trees, you immediately feel a sense of community and connection. It is much more than a café – it is a place where people meet, share, and feel at home. What makes Café Lipe even more special is the connection to Trash Hero. Every Monday at 10 a.m., boats leave from here with volunteers to nearby islands to collect trash and help keep the sea and beaches clean. It is inspiring to see so many people come together for such a good cause. Afterwards, everyone is even invited to lunch. I am deeply grateful for the time I spent here. Café Lipe helped me connect with wonderful people and made my stay on Koh Lipe very special. I am already looking forward to coming back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. One of the best spots on the island! White powder sand under your feet while u eat or drink. The shade from the big trees saves u from a nasty sunburn, while u run back and forth from the emerald water. Its also a great people watching spot where you can enjoy watching new guests coming in and old guest leaving the island. The food is good and fresh. I can recommend the thai hummus. Its the only place on the island i found it. The owners bee and Darius are very friendly and welcoming and very helpful with booking boat trips or other adventures.
