[Entertainer 1-for-1 Deals] I got the Sichuan Signature Combo ($14.80) which comes with Dan Dan Mian plus Kou Shui Ji. Dan dan mian was alright, but the chicken was surprisingly tantalising - good enough that I would considering the full portion next time. Also added the Stir-fried Cabbage ($13.90 for Large) but the portion was sadder than expected. Tried the Kaya Toast Stout ($12.90) too which had a prominent pandan coconut taste which was interesting. My friends got the Hokkien Noodles ($15.90) and Char Kuay Teow ($13.90) but they had no comments about the taste. Altogether, the food was largely pricey and at an average quality. Environment was pretty boisterous and the music was so loud (from the open mic karaoke) that sometimes we had to shout to hear each other. Perhaps the restaurant can consider placing the speakers from the ceiling instead of right beside the tables. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The food here was really good, homely and relatively affordable! Lots of local food options but my family’s fav was the Kway Teow with plump prawns and rly good chilli. 10% of proceeds from every meal and $3 from every bottle of wine goes to a charity cause!! So you’re not only having a meal but supporting people who need it They’re open til late on weekdays so great for a quick bite/drink for office workers in Bugis.

My favourite lunch venue when I need a reset and quiet time, got to know lovely people like Ah Liang and Michael who is always so welcoming. Today, I was rather shocked when I didn't see the minced pork rice on the menu. Michael was sooo kind to ask if the chef could cook one for me.. and I got my comfort food delivered! Thanks for the wonderful ambience, service and food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
