Very relaxed chill vibe local restaurant by the beach. Its not very big shop but definitely cozy, and beach in front of the restaurant also very calm not clouded. You can really relax. I have ordered fried rice with vegetables and egg, it was delicious. Staff and owner were friendly as well. If you are around maenam great place to stop by :) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Have vegetable dishes available.

I had a lovely meal last night. I was very lucky to come on Chinese new year. It is right by the Chinese temple in Maenam which is the Chinese centre of the island.where Every Chinese new year Maenam hosts a big celebration every year and this year was not a disappointment. I was able to see the Chinese entertainment in front of the temple from where I was sitting. I ended up staying there all night as they had a reggae, DJ Followed by live band in the area in front of the temple beside cafe Talay. The food was delicious and I can thoroughly recommend the Mississippi Mud cocktail. I was very disappointed to read a bad review complaining about the noise last night, which resulted in them giving one star,. I can’t imagine why anyone would go to a restaurant in front of a Chinese temple on Chinese New Year and expect it to be quiet!. I have been to the restaurant three times during my stay and have enjoyed a lovely meal in a beautiful location overlooking the sea with good food and good service. If I return to Koh Samui this will definitely be on my list of visit again.
