I stopped by Café Tartine after an appointment at the embassy and was looking for breakfast without spending too much, since most places around this area are quite pricey. This seemed to be one of the more reasonably priced options nearby. The breakfast menu offers a good variety of choices, and most of the customers appeared to be foreigners. As a Thai customer, I found the menu a little difficult to navigate because there were no photos, so I ended up choosing based on the descriptions. The portions were quite large and filling. As for the taste, it was okay but nothing particularly memorable for me. I can understand why it appeals to international customers, and I think the flavors would suit Western tastes well. Thai customers should be able to enjoy it too, although it wasn't really my favorite. The indoor seating felt a bit cramped and made the space feel crowded when there were several customers. There is outdoor seating available, which looked much more comfortable, especially later in the day. The morning heat made it less appealing during my visit. Service was fine overall. One thing I noticed was that some staff members were chatting quite loudly among themselves in Thai. Since many customers seemed to be foreigners, it felt like they were less aware of how their conversations might come across. A few remarks sounded less professional than I would expect from a café with this kind of atmosphere. It wasn't a big issue since I was only stopping by for breakfast, but it did become a little distracting while eating. The dessert display looked very tempting, although I was too full to try anything. Overall, it was a convenient place to grab breakfast, with reasonable prices for the area and generous portions. Not somewhere I would specifically return to, but it served its purpose for a quick meal before heading out. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
