I have dined at MUJI Raffles City several times, and this was my first negative experience. On previous visits, the counter staff were patient when I asked which dishes did not contain meat, and I appreciated their helpfulness. During my most recent visit, I politely asked if the onsen egg could be served without the sauce because it contains seafood, and I mentioned that I'm vegetarian. Before the staff member I was speaking to could respond, another staff member loudly said, "There is no vegetarian here. Everything here has fish. If you want vegetarian, don't eat here—go next door." I didn't argue and simply continued with my payment. I completely understand if my request could not be accommodated, and I would have accepted a polite "no." I'm not a demanding customer, and I don't expect special treatment. I only hope staff can communicate with customers respectfully, even when a request cannot be fulfilled. A little courtesy goes a long way. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
