I think their chili is free. Ordered salted egg chicken that came with 30 slices of chili padi that made the dish so spicy. Is it to mask the unfreshness of the chicken? Tom yum soup is filled with cheap frozen ingredients, tastes super sour and once again filled with chili padi. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered honeydew chicken rice. Before I could even taste it, can already smell of chilli sauce. Like they add water to chilli sauce and pour on my rice. Fried wonton and sotong you char kway is overcooked. Did not enjoy my lunch at work. But since already on our table, no choice but to eat. Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 1

I had an incredible experience at Cahaya Restaurant for Iftar! My group of friends and I arrived late without a reservation during the busiest time of day, but the person in charge was a lifesaver. He prioritized us, making sure we got the very next available table. Even better, he took our food orders while we were waiting so the dishes were ready the moment we sat down. Since it was Ramadan, he was thoughtful enough to serve our drinks and dates first so we could break our fast on time. Amazing food, but even better service. We will definitely be back!
