I finally tried the dark chocolate cake from Cakebar, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. Yes, it’s on the pricier side at $13.50 for a small piece, but the quality really shows from the first bite. The chocolate was rich, intense, and beautifully balanced — not overly sweet, with a smooth mousse layer that paired perfectly with the moist sponge and glossy ganache on top. You can tell this is made with premium ingredients and proper technique. It felt indulgent, refined, and satisfying despite the portion size. Definitely a treat-yourself dessert rather than an everyday cake, but totally worth it if you appreciate good dark chocolate. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers!
