Came here for dinner recently, and I don’t usually post, but feel compelled too because the dish I was served just didn’t make sense to me. But first, the overall vibe. The place was remarkably empty on a weekend during dinner, which seems curious given the generally positive reviews it seems to have. The servers seem to drift unenthusiastically from station to station and are not particularly attentive. Case in point, we were served water only AFTER our the first dish had arrived. The menu for that day seemed quite limited and uninspiring. I’ve been to other canopy branches and I recall the menu being more extensive. Ok on to the dish in question. I ordered the schnitzel, and it was underwhelming. To begin, it didn’t have the coleslaw listed in the menu as part of the dish, and the seasonal vegetables were just a few pieces of lettuce. But what’s actually motivated me to write, and I haven’t done this in months, is the inclusion of a cold hard boiled egg in this dish. All I keep thinking about is why. Why add an egg? I’m baffled at the choice of using a hard boiled egg on top, which adds another dry, crumbly layer to a dry, crumbly crust. I did not eat it separately as it was placed on top of the schnitzel covered with gojuchang sauce. I ate it as I assumed it was meant to be eaten, in combination with the schnitzel. If it were a side it should’ve been placed on the side. It was weird and deeply unsatisfying. The cold egg gave a really unpleasant mouth feel going from one temperature to another. The lettuce and gojuchang mayo did little to make the egg and the schnitzel tie together. I think had the egg been soft boiled or poached it could have made more sense, and also provide a less stark temperature gradient. Overall, I would still go to a canopy outlet in the future but I would probably avoid the schnitzel. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Decided to have a birthday celebration here. The staff were amazing and very accommodating especially the waitress in the photo (not sure her name but she helped us with our special request... all done perfectly). Food was also very delicious and we had a great time there. Would definitely go back again and recommend to others. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Canopy Changi City Point is a true gem nestled in the East – a perfect spot for both casual dining and after-work relaxation. I recently visited with a few friends, and we had an incredible experience indulging in a delicious spread that left us thoroughly impressed. We started with the Truffle Fries, which were aromatic, crispy, and addictive – generously seasoned and drizzled with truffle oil, setting the tone for the meal. The Chicken Drumlets followed shortly after and were an instant hit – juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, served piping hot and perfectly seasoned. For mains, we ordered the Vegetarian Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza. The Veg Pizza was delightful – a colorful mix of fresh vegetables on a thin, crisp crust with just the right amount of cheese. It was flavorful without being too heavy. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was the standout – smoky, sweet, and savory all at once. The chicken was succulent, and the barbecue sauce gave it a nice tangy kick that complemented the melted cheese beautifully. The ambience at Canopy is relaxing and modern, with an alfresco garden vibe that’s hard to beat. What made our evening even better was their Happy Hour – a wide selection of wines and beers at great prices. The drinks were chilled to perfection and paired wonderfully with the meal. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind with good food, quality drinks, and great company. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual bite or a relaxing drink after work, Canopy Changi City Point hits all the right notes. We’ll definitely be back soon – highly recommended!
