Canopyレストランはホテルの道路挟んだ向かい側にチャンギビレッジ？というモール的な場所にあるシーフードレストランです。昼食にホテル近辺で何かしら食べようと考えて最初はホーカーで屋台飯を、と思ったが、暑かったからエアコンの効いた此方でシーフードのクラブパスタとビールをいただきました。カニはいわゆる『ソフトシェルクラブ(脱皮したての柔らかい甲羅のカニ？)』でまるごと食べられる。味付けも本格的な味で日本人もメチャクチャ美味しい。ただし、ビールとパスタだけで5000円はかかるからご注意。シンガポールはだいたいエアコンがあるレストランはお高いようでまあクーラー代プラスだと思い、納得するしかない。. The Braised Beef Cheek was absolutely outstanding. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes. The combination worked really well together. Just one suggestion — it would be great if white rice could be added to the menu. I know this is a Western-style restaurant, but serving this delicious beef cheek with a bowl of white rice would truly take the dish to the next level! The Fish & Chips was equally enjoyable. The battered fish was crispy and crunchy on the outside while remaining moist and flaky inside. Paired with the sour cream sauce, it was a delightful combination. The fries were also perfectly cooked — crispy, tasty, and highly addictive. The portion size was generous, making it ideal for sharing with your loved one or enjoying all by yourself. Overall, this is a wonderful place to gather with friends and family. Great food, a good selection of wine and beer, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities for good conversations. A perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a memorable day. Highly recommended! Lastly, a special thanks to Edward Ching for recommending this restaurant. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and overall dining experience. It turned out to be a fantastic gathering, and we're glad we discovered this gem through his recommendation. Canopy Changi Village is a true hidden gem tucked away in an idyllic seaside corner. The ambiance is wonderful, but the food and service are what truly stand out. The Food Highlights: Cauliflower Fritters: A must-order. The batter is delicately light and crispy, pairing perfectly with the dipping sauce. Fish & Chips: A stellar dish featuring a golden, crunchy beer batter. Prawn Aglio Olio: Generous portions of fresh, snap-bright prawns and perfectly al dente spaghetti. We did have a minor "chip in the armor" when our Beef Cheek Burger arrived cold. However, the service recovery was top-notch. A gentleman named Mohid was incredibly attentive; he explained the temperature was likely affected by the chilled coleslaw and immediately offered a hot replacement. Overall, a fantastic dining experience set against a scenic backdrop. Between the high-quality dishes and the professional care from Mohid and his team, we will definitely be back!
