Laichun Yuen Theatre is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. The cooks here prepare tasty ginger chicken, chilli chicken and steamed chicken. Most visitors mention that the staff is appealing. The professional service shows a high level of quality at Canton Steamed Rice. Come here for the pretty atmosphere. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.5.

The atmosphere of Chinatown Complex, all hot and musty adds to the immersive experience of HK, perfect for Canton Steamed rice to be located at. Unlike HK though, the uncle was very friendly. Had the steamed beef rice and I must say it was perfectly cooked. Tender, and juicy, it keeps you wanting more. Though it needed an additional wait time, it was totally worth it. And the old cucumber soup was only $1.20. Tasted so sweet and refreshing, much needed in this El Nino climate. What a steal. Def would be back. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So glad that I chanced upon this store on social media. Always liked steamed rice, which you generally find served in restaurants or dim sum outlets.. price point is $4.80 is alright but seem a bit steep for people who wants a fuller meal, as the portion is small. Unfortunately I arrived late.. around 2+pm and left only scallion and chicken.. I enjoyed it a lot.. tender chicken and tasty.. but just a point.. I wish it can be a touch better to make it stand out and more satisfying the sauce for the rice can have more flavour.. the chilli is lovely.. just need that little extra “oomph”.. Located within Chinatown Complex and Market and Hawker Centre, this store serves cantonese styled steamed rice. Ordered pork ribs and chicken with black cloud fungus per their recommendations. Each cost $4.8 served in ceramic bow and drizzled with light sauce, spring onions and chilli. Don't touch the bowl as it is very hot!!! The steamed rice is not fluffy, quite tasteless unless it has the drizzled light sauce, which can be salty. Both meats are marinated with a lot of meat tenderizer. Overall, average taste. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
