Had a grreat caramelized onion burger and onion rings. Food was piping hot and flavors were great. Will definitely return next time I'm in Khon Kaen if I'm craving a burger! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400

An excellent smashburger with mushrooms & loaded fries. Didn’t expect a restaurant like this up here. Pleasant surprise. Perfectly done.

WOW ! Burger Lovers , I have found Carlo Smash burgers claim to be true !!! Best Burger in Town , I believe they need to expand their claim as the Best in the Province of Khon Kaen. Onion Rings are superb , a massive basket breaded & cooked to absolute perfection. No other business comes close to this pairing and so reasonably priced. My Smash double has weight, freshness, juicy patties , flavorful, seasoned right on a sesame bun. They have been open the Owner shared for 3 months while previously doing business via Grab pick ups only. Super clean bathroom , tables, chairs & floor immaculately clean as well. There is a dining area enclosed yet Christmas week is so comfortable I chose to sit outside ( covered and set back from the street ). Great discovery !!! I know you will have Maximum enjoyment w/ all they prepare. Update May 15, 2025 ; Chef Duan " ROCKS " , another Fab Double made " Top Gun " style , Inverted. Bun below , onion, lettuce , smash burger & cheese , then cheese again, smash burger , lettuce , onion topped with a toasted bun. If you saw Top Gun the only thing missing was Tom Cruise giving the MIG pilot the Finger while upside down / inverted . Smashed it real good, Top onion rings on the combo order ,OMG so crunchy, flavorful, fresh & delicious. Living in Phetchabun and rarely more than a days visit in Khon Kaen , I plan on coming here every single visit and have only missed once in I believe 5 or 6 times. Easy street parallel parking always w/ in 30 meters +-. Open grill/ kitchen & clean as a whistle . I never leave a single crumb of bun, or beef, or breading for her award winning onion rings. It didn't take 48 hours to return to Carlo Smash burger !!! New location is cool, on a Soi directly across from Krung Thep / Bangkok bank. I could park near . Continuity counts ; same incredible Smash burger chef Now the capacity inside is nearly 30 patrons , they can host a good size group now. Big screen, A/C - all indoors , nice aesthetics inside with comfortable long bench seating. Wifi for staying connected . I always enjoy how I feel here , so well treated , such delicious food ! // Update ; Carlos Smashburger has moved across the street into a musically themed dining space. Pianos, an organ, guitars, ( the console piano plays and is in good tune ) , the classical guitar can be tuned to play. Nice while you wait for the always delicious smashburgers and my favorite battered onion rings. Kindness always from the staff , awesomeness coming from their " Smash " kitchen. They rank on top for me , and that is saying something as I came from Hamburger Heaven in the USA both in California & Arizona ( Beef states ! ) Congratulations for your Highest Food Quality Standards !
