If you’re coming to Khao Lak, you absolutely have to visit Carpenters Bar This beautiful, family run spot was one of the highlights of our trip. You can really feel the love and care that’s gone into every detail. The father has hand built all the furniture himself and it’s incredible, along with the amazing driftwood figures he creates and sells, truly talented craftsmanship and something really unique. The whole place is beautifully decorated with such a relaxed, welcoming vibe, the lighting is stunning especially in the evening and creates such a warm cosy atmosphere. There are plants everywhere adding to the natural peaceful feel and every corner has something interesting to look at, it’s honestly one of the most unique places we’ve visited. You instantly feel at home as soon as you arrive and the family couldn’t have been kinder, taking the time to chat with us, making us feel so welcome and creating such a friendly atmosphere. Special shoutout to Dogo the dog and Sam the cat who made it even more memorable! Great music, a fantastic range of drinks and genuinely warm attentive service. It’s one of those places you don’t just visit once, you want to keep coming back. We had such a lovely time here and would 100 percent recommend it to anyone visiting Khao Lak, 5 stars all the way One of the amazing highlights of our trip! A lovely quirky bar. There is so much to feast your eyes on. The owner has built all the furniture and some fantastical wooden sculptures. The prices are very reasonable too, a short walk from the Pullman. What's not to love! Price per person: ฿200–400 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An amazing bar run by a 3 generations. Superb story telling and sharing about the local must do’s and their experience with the tsunami. Owner is a fisherman and a former dive boat captain and has built the bar on his own.enquire about their bespoke day trips with a local twist.Great cocktails and super affordable!just a few meters aways from Pullman.if there is a place u want to go to for the best tips and a great night this is the place to be!
