情報の誤りを報告する
The owner greeted us in perfect English and immediately said that cocktails can be tweaked to specific tastes, depending on the customer. The Negroni that Mao, the owner, served me was perfectly and immediately chilled by a large pentagon-shaped cube that was completely translucent with no fractals, suggesting the water they use to make the ice is of superior quality.
I prefer Negronis stronger and immensely bitter, so Morris (excellent English) delivered immediately with a delicious number in deeper burgundy, but countered with the auburn tastes of orange peel. I think it was better than the ones I had in Italy, just because they cater for your pallet. These are talented people who care about what they are serving and take pride in it.
The bar itself is small, intimate and very well put together. Space is limited, but when you know what you want from a mixologist, and you can communicate your needs in either English or Mandarin, Mao or his staff will mix something for your taste and under instruction.
I've never encountered this openness before, when it comes to taste. He takes care of you, very specifically. And fully aware of what he has served.
I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys immaculate service and drinks to be mixed at their own behest. Mao has delivered.
