Casa MANINI Worse tonight was Tiramisu.. this supposed to be an Italian restaurant.. but their Tiramisu tasted so bland.. no alcohol & no espresso at all… not even abit… I tot I’m eating something else, like a sponge cake with plain cream… even the table beside us also called for a waitress & told them it’s totally bland… well, for ppl like us who love Tiramisu we would expect at least something basic from an Italian Restaurant, the worse part was when I told & feedback to another waitress about the very bland taste Tiramisu with no alcohol & espresso taste at all… she replied with an unbelievable & confused expression “Huh? This was the most popular dessert here”! I was like…. OH MY GOSH!!?? Being confused also & the same time thinking to myself, so this was the best u can offer for a Tiramisu from an Italian Restaurant? Wow.. disaster…!!! Another issue was that the waitress was defensive… wondered did she even tasted a Tiramisu from an Italian Restaurant before or not.. An authentic one at least!!! Well, guess they don’t take feedbacks from customers very well… Such respond & attitude.. What a great great disappointment… Panna Cotta was the most delicious tonight.. Lasagna was good too, thou a little bit sour coz of the tomato but it’s very home style.. Steak was grilled to our requested expectations but taste was average.. Pizza was thin crusted & easy to eat & taste was average & acceptable too… Ambience was good thou… & we chose an average taste wine…

just nowNEW We had an incredibly lovely evening at Casa Manini! Cold cut platter and burrata caprese for starters. The burrata is amazing! Highly recommend ordering the burrata! For our mains, we ordered the Rigatoni with the 4hr braised beef sauce and the Risotto Al Fungi. Both dishes were . Personally I felt the Risotto needed a touch more salt, but I generally like my food to be a bit more salty, just my preference. If not, you'll probably still love the risotto anyway! Our desserts were super interesting, the Affrogato with Grappa and a lemon sorbet served in a frozen lemon!! Super super yummy! Can't believe we waited so long to visit this restaurant! Will definitely be back again soon!
