I usually go to the Star Vista branch, and I came to this Wheelock Place outlet today hoping to enjoy a quiet tea break. Love their cake as always. The dark chocolate cake has just the right amount of sweetness. This is probably their prettiest branch, offering a nice view overlooking Orchard Road. Unfortunately, the lovely ambience was spoilt by a rowdy, large group of over staying diners. It was so loud that even the crew had problems taking orders at the cashier near their table. Such a shame. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ordered pulled beef. Beef was tough and difficult to digest. Little to no greens in my sandwich. Foccacia was over toasted. Service was little to none. Have been a customer for many years at this branch. Sad to see it in such a state. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Passive staff. When a staff saw my partner and I at the entrance, there was no acknowledgement - staff just kept using the mobile phone. I had to ask if we could just seat ourselves at any table. Tables were not cleaned. I had to help myself to alcohol sanitizer and my own wet wipes to clean the table, and so did a few other customers at their tables. Bought the cake and tea set, and was charged additional $1 because I selected Red Velvet cake. No clarification on additional charges for certain cakes. I was only told of this additional charge after inquiring. Poor communication - not up to legacy Cedele standard. Mishmash random hiring and unserious in training and management. No more hot food, just food assembly - salads, cakes, beverage dispensing. Cakes, tarts, and bread are still nice. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
