とても綺麗で繊細な居心地のよい店内。本日、初めて入って驚いたのは、アイス以外にも美味しいsweetsがある事これは知らなかった本日はとcaffè e llatteを。とても洗練されたお味。持ち帰りにdouble chocolate Cookieを。とても口当たりよく、程よい甘さに感激ひとしお。次回はcakeをいただきたい

I expected decent gelato given the good reviews. I ordered pistachio and cookies and cream gelato with waffles. The pistachio tasted almost like black sesame, it just wasn’t as good as the gelato I had in other places (e.g. most places in Italy and also Dopa Dopa). The waffles were limp and thin, not fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Ordered flat white and cafe latte (all hot), the coffee was good. Did not have to add sugar, minimal bitterness. Now to the service. The staff were not very professional, yapping away like secondary school kids loudly in the cafe. One of the staff (an Indian lady) who took my order was so distracted that I had to repeat my order 3 times. When I’m ordering mid sentence she turned to talk to her colleague, laugh, and turn back to me, losing her train of thought (if any at all). Overall, for the food quality and service, I think there are better cafes elsewhere.

Waffles: one of the best in Singapore. Gelato: (update 2023) so good now that they’ve made the recipe less sweet! Waffle: 5 stars (I tell her to omit the icing sugar and put the maple syrup on the side.) Waffles are usually all about the texture – crisp (but not too crunchy) on the outside and chewy inside – this one does not disappoint, and on top of that actually has amazing flavour – eggy but not too eggy, and not too sweet. ---- GELATO ---- Cookies and Cream: 4.75 stars (Tried in 2023) Oh my god the flavour is so buttery. Also not as sweet as most C&Cs! Avocado: 4.5 stars (Special tried in 2023) Gorgeous dense fine creamy texture. Avocado flavour is noticeable, luxurious and not artificial. Not too sweet. This flavour went well with the maple syrup. Coconut Lychee: 4.75 stars (Special tried in 2021) Pistachio: 4 stars (Tried in 2021) I like that they only had 6 flavours – Black Sesame, Matcha, Chocolate, Durian, and the two I tried. Will certainly come back to try more. The texture of both gelato flavours I tried was divine. Soft, pillowy, smooth and firm like tightly whipped cream. It doesn't have the fleshy, chewy body of, say, the gelato at Ice Ke Lim that demands you engage your teeth in the endeavour as well, but if you want gelato that melts with only the licks of your tongue you will love Celine's Gelato. The Coconut Lychee flavour was beautiful and authentic. Pistachio was decent for pistachio-lovers but a bit too mild to be outstanding – I prefer the Roasted Pistachio at Monarchs & Milkweed. That said, both flavours i tried were too sweet – felt cloying midway through and I didn't finish. I don't know how this would affect the texture (sorry, no gelato-making experience only lots of baking) but if she would offer a 50%-less-sugar version of certain flavours (perhaps even alongside the full-sugar version) I think I might find myself eating here almost every week... Will come back sometime to try the cheesecake and cream cheese crumble
