Welcoming center with Kosher restaurant open most hours of the day. Not as grand or big as the one in BK but a warm atmosphere.

Really nice, friendly rabbi. Not judgemental at all and respects all levels of religion. So welcoming and overall a great experience on Shabbat and the restaurant was great too

Chabad of Chiang Mai is truly something special and left a lasting impression on me. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that it instantly feels like home. Whether you’re traveling solo, with family, or meeting fellow Jewish travelers, the sense of community here is incredible and deeply comforting. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin are absolutely outstanding. Their dedication, generosity, and care for every single person who walks through the door is inspiring. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels included, supported, and uplifted — spiritually, emotionally, and practically. It doesn’t feel like a service; it feels like family. Shabbat at Chabad of Chiang Mai is unforgettable. The atmosphere is beautiful, lively, and meaningful all at once. The meals are delicious, abundant, and clearly prepared with so much love and attention. Sitting around the table with people from all over the world, sharing songs, stories, and meaningful conversation, is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. They also do an amazing job helping travelers with anything they might need — from kosher food to guidance, advice, and support while traveling in Thailand. You can truly feel how much heart and soul goes into everything they do. Chabad of Chiang Mai is more than just a place to daven or eat — it’s a spiritual anchor, a warm refuge, and a reminder of the strength of Jewish unity no matter where you are in the world. If you’re in Chiang Mai, visiting Chabad isn’t just recommended, it’s essential. An absolute blessing and easily one of the highlights of the trip.
