オーストラリア人のオーナーさんとご家族？が経営されてます。 とてもフレンドリーで親切なのですが、 日本語が分からないのでコミュニケーションを取るのに一苦労します。 部屋はTVなしアメニティ最低限とシンプルです。 ゲレンデへはコース外？！の林を突き抜けるか（滑走能力ある方限定）、徒歩でゲレンデまで歩くかの二択。

Having read other reviews we must have been unlucky the week we arrived. Told by staff that we couldn’t eat at the restaurant as they were too busy but others were served after us. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work and were told this is normal glitch but were given a small heater. For the 5 nights that we stayed, we were never spoken to by the owner Will other than a hello, yet he was in the lounge most days. If you want 2 star accommodation with 2 star service then this is your place. On the up side the rooms were clean and location is possibly best ski in ski out at Madarao.

Our family of 3 stayed for 9 nights in January 2026. Nora, Will & all the chalet’s staff were extremely helpful & friendly which made for an enjoyable stay. Great facilities with plenty of things to utilise & pass the time when not on the slopes - books, games & billiards table, which entertained all who stayed or visited. Tasty food options for dinner & breakfast - really enjoyed Taco Tuesday! Also food choices like vegetarian, gluten free & alternative milks were accommodated (advisable to give a heads up so supplies can be purchased/prepared ahead of time). Big thank you to Chalet Madarao - your ski in, ski out location was a fun & memorable holiday destination. Service: 5
