Found this spot near my friend's place via Google Maps. Everything was excellent—unique cocktails, a wonderful atmosphere, and helpful staff who gave great recommendations. A perfect finale to our evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

You'd walk right past it if you didn't know — a black door with a gold moon handle tucked at the back of The Robertson House. Step in, and you're instantly in another era: dim candlelight, dark intimate corners, and a moody opium den aesthetic. The corner seating is *the* spot — reserve in advance. While waiting for our drinks, the staff served us chai tea — a thoughtful touch that set the whole tone. My standout was **Suppression** ($20–$26), made with East Indies Pomelo Gin, Arc Botanical Gin, Cranberry Vinegar, Apricot, Rosemary and Thyme — layered, sophisticated, with a delicate sweetness that lingers. **Addiction** was a close second, with Bombay Sapphire, Moutai Prince and a sesame florentine garnish that's as fun to eat as it is to drink. The rest of the cocktails at the table held their own too — presentations across the board were theatrical and beautiful. If you love creative cocktails wrapped in a story and delivered with real craft, Chandu is the kind of bar that makes a night feel genuinely memorable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the most memorable experiences while staying at The Robertson House was visiting Chandu, the hotel’s signature speakeasy bar, for a cocktail and mocktail making workshop. The vibe inside is intimate, stylish, and slightly mysterious - exactly what you would expect from a speakeasy. We learned how to make a chai-based mocktail with the help of Kumaran, who made the session fun and interactive. The mocktail turned out delicious, and the whole experience felt personal and unique. I would absolutely recommend trying this and visiting Chandu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
