Chao Doi is a well known coffee chain in Thailand with a very local and welcoming atmosphere. The menu mainly features traditional Thai coffee drinks, so the flavors are stronger, sweeter, and more aromatic compared to modern specialty coffee shops. I especially enjoyed the iced milk coffee because it has a bold flavor while still being easy to drink, and the prices are very reasonable. The café itself is simple and not overly fancy, but it feels comfortable and truly reflects the everyday coffee culture of local people. If you want to experience authentic Thai style coffee that is affordable and easy to enjoy, Chao Doi is definitely worth trying when visiting Thailand.
