I have a rather severe gluten sensitivity. I also have a barely passable grasp of the Chinese language. So restaurants like Chao Ping Ji would be daunting for me to navigate. However, the waitstaff and kitchen were able to figure out ways to accommodate me and my dinner companions (who can eat gluten). In the end, I had a most delightful and delicious dinner. Most importantly, it was a gluten free dinner. I’m very grateful to the restaurant for the care they showed. A suggestion: It would be helpful to indicate gluten free options or accommodations in the menu for Chinese-illiterate folks like me. Would highly recommend!
