Overall completely unimpressive! They must really amp up their food and service when they were up for review! Food was average, too sweet overall, but I would rather have eaten on the pier. They told me multiple times they were going to rush us out since they closed soon. There was no grace period, they closed at 9:30 and we were pressured into leaving as soon as it was getting close We ordered a course menu, so they started bringing more dishes before we had even gotten close to finish our last plate or wine. Entire place was completely empty too so there was no need to rush us out either. Would not recommend! Spent 420,000 to be rushed out. Don’t worry receipt came in a dumb envelope. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩100,000+ Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Chaoran is an excellent choice for fine dining in Busan. Located in the luxurious Signiel Hotel, this restaurant is a Michelin guide winner and it clearly shows. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, but has a flare of old world Asian class. I thought the decor looked great. Service was superb in all aspects, our waitresses were amazing and accommodated a large group of us. All the dishes that were brought out were beautiful and delicious. We really had a great experience, and I highly recommend Chaoran! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩100,000+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was delicious, especially the chicken in sweet and sour sauce. The service was truly top-tier, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with such high ratings. A special thanks to Tia Cha — she represented hospitality in the most graceful way. Her warmth, professionalism, and charming energy made the whole evening feel even more memorable. At some point, I couldn’t tell whether I was more impressed by the restaurant itself or by the atmosphere she created around it. This place is genuinely excellent. Everything was perfect.
