Lovely Western food. Ordered chicken chops, cutlet and fish'n'chips. The gravy added lovely flavor to the food and we enjoyed the excellent mashed and fries. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Sauce, Fish and Chips, Chicken Cutlet, Mashed Potato, Coleslaw, French Fries

This stall was featured on @straits_times back in 2020 for painstakingly making every ingredient inhouse instead of using ready-made factory food. This means that even the fries are handmade and sauces are their own creation. Not sure how much of this remains true to this day, but there are many wonderful hit and misses here. Let me start with the plus Their signature is truly their pièce de resistance. Even without the sauce, the chicken is well marinated till it's seeped into the meat. It reminds me of having satay but an entire piece of chicken. I tried their / and my choosen side was mash and coleslaw. While the chicken was really good, felt the creamy mushroom sauce did not go well with the chicken marination. The coleslaw was so boring as well and I would have preferred more variety and color to the vege. Next I had their ' / . This time their unique Jack Daniel's sauce went well with the chicken. Definitely must try this combi. Whole the Carbonara allows you to add as much grated cheese as you like, it was way too plain. This is probably the saddest Carbonara I've had. Personally I feel there's alot of potential in this stall as the chef definitely has what it takes. However they need to revamp their menu and instead of so much customizability, to focus on their strong points and remove the unpopular dishes. Also some of the sides and spag are way too plain!! Latest update on 10Jan 2024 After moving to Blk 153 for about a year, the stall owners have decided to cease operation at current location on 15 Jan or earlier (if and when their current stocks run out). They will take a break and find a new place for perhaps a new food business. They have not found a place yet. So folks, this will be just be about 3 days before they close. Now where I am gonna find my jack daniel sauce chicken chop fix ———- Latest update: they moved to another coffee shop nearby at Blk 153 Serangoon north Ave 1, Guan Hock Tiong eating house. Thank you Google for reviewing and confirming the change. . Posted the below review 6 months ago. I thought to update as heard that the coffee shop has changed hands and under renovation now. Also that chef k western stall may not continue at the same location. A pity as am really gonna miss their fried chicken wings (da best) and the jack Daniels sauce chicken chop. :((( If anyone knows where they have moved to or are moving to, please feel free to update. Many thanks! Just came back again, this time ordered chicken chop with jack Daniels sauce! It is yummy and the 2 sides that came with it makes it absolutely money worth at 6.80. Would come back again for sure. Waiting time 10mins
