Food [2.5/5] 1) Tom Yum Noodles with Bouncy Pork and Cheese (3.25/5) ️ The Tom Yum initially was fragrant with a hint of lemongrass, the spiciness was just right, and it had a slight thickness. However, as I continued eating, it became overly spicy, salty, and oily for my taste. The noodles themselves were good, offering a pleasant chewiness that paired well with the Tom Yum, and there was no strange alkaline taste. The bouncy pork ball was a pleasant surprise with its tender texture, but the cheese filling inside lacked any real cheese flavor. Similarly, the cheese in the Tom Yum soup felt bland and had an odd texture (it tasted just like chewing gum) that disrupted the overall dish and the noodle's texture. 2) Fried Cheese Dumplings (2/5) The cheese dumplings were a letdown as well. While the dumplings were well-made and fried to a satisfying crispiness, the cheese inside once again proved disappointing in terms of flavor. The dumpling skin became more enjoyable when dipped in the Thai chili sauce provided. I would recommend that the owner consider changing the type of cheese used, perhaps opting for a stronger variety like cheddar, to bring out more pronounced cheese flavors in both the Tom Yum and the cheese dumplings. ️ Service [1.5/5] The language barrier was quite noticeable, as the owner spoke very limited English and appeared impatient when dealing with non-Thai-speaking customers during ordering and payment. Ambience [2/5] The dining area was quite small, featuring uncomfortable metal chairs and small tables. The overall dining experience left something to be desired, especially given the prices. However, the hygiene level was acceptable and better than average stall. Value [0.5/5] With a bowl of Tom Yum priced at 89 baht and fried cheese dumplings at 69 baht, the price was considerably high. Considering the food quality, service, and ambience, I would say the entire experience in the food villa is overhyped and overpriced.
