Dinner at this Euro-Japan fusion restaurant Chefs’ Playground today and it’s a total hidden gem, run by an incredibly welcoming team, the vibes here are warm, clean, and spacious. Perfect for a relaxed family meal or a satisfying dinner after a busy day or after a show nearby. We ordered a mix of their mains and artisanal pizzas, and here is our honest verdict on the spread: Hokkaido Cheese Pizza ($19.60) - If you love cheese, this is an absolute MUST-TRY. It features a decadent, fragrant blend of rich cheese and melted shredded mozzarella, layered over a light tomato base. The crust was beautifully baked, light, crisp, and didn’t feel overly heavy. We loved this so much! Black Pepper Chicken Chop - You can’t go wrong with their chicken chop. The execution was on point: beautiful presentation, succulent meat, and a wonderfully crispy skin that trapped all the juices inside. Paired with a strong black pepper sauce, it’s a solid, comforting choice that hits the spot if you're craving a hearty protein fix. Oishi Tender Pork Ribs - We had high hopes for the Oishi Tender Ribs, which came beautifully plated with an aromatic special glaze, edamame, and their signature mashed potato. Taste-wise, the flavor profile was great, savory, and well-marinated. However, the meat itself was a little on the dry side during our visit. A bit more moisture would have easily pushed this into "perfection" territory, but the great flavor profile and the unique sides still made it an enjoyable plate. Overall, everything was incredibly nice, tasty, and presented beautifully. The portions are just nice, and the fusion elements feel thoughtful rather than gimmicky. Not to forget, the excellent hospitality from the crews and thier exceptional service, we’ll definitely be back! Price per person: SGD 20–30

Stumbled upon this Japanese-Western fusion spot & had a really enjoyable meal. Everything we ordered was well executed, with clean, balanced flavors that didn’t rely on heavy seasoning. The service was pleasant & the food arrived surprisingly quickly. It’s also great that they offer set meals for both lunch and dinner. We’d happily return to explore more of the menu. We had a wonderful lunch at Chefs' Playground! It’s such a gem for families—the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food exceeded our expectations. The highlights of our meal: Kinoko Soup: This was incredible. It arrived piping hot, which is exactly how a good mushroom soup should be served. The flavor was rich and earthy. Teriyaki Pizza: You could tell this was fresh from the oven. The crust was perfect, and it was served very hot with a generous amount of toppings. The balance of flavors was spot on. Creamy Kinoko Pasta: A must-try for mushroom lovers! It was wonderfully creamy and very satisfying. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive and made us feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a quality meal while the little ones are entertained. We will definitely be back with the Family!
