For those looking for a solid spot with great service in Beomgye. They open at 12:30 for lunch so we waited a few minutes at the nearby mall. With raw fish service (including puffer fish) I think this is a popular dinner spot, however lunch was spectacular. You get a plethora of banchan, the standouts being the soft tofu, pickled veggies and the stingray fish. We ordered the black mouth angler dish that comes with soybean. Order the medium heat as it’s quite spicy. There’s a big piece of the liver which was quite delightful. My mom who is Korean LOVED the dish. This order also comes with a seaweed soup, which is lovely and the kimchi pancake which was my favorite dish. The standout is the spectacular friendly service. Also with ample lighting and giant windows it’s a photographers dream. We were gifted a fried octopus dish by showing our NAVER ID, I highly recommend you do this.
