Spotted this roadside eatery with lots of locals and had to try the grilled chicken ourselves. It sure didn’t disappoint: deliciously marinated and super tender. It comes with two dips, one Thai sweet chilli-like and a spicy one. For THB100, you get half a chicken! The papaya salad (som tum) also looked good, though we opted for the squid & prawn noodle salad, with a nicely balanced dressing. The laab is another flavour-packed highlight. There’s no English menu, but you can just point at the photos or Google translate the menu on the wall. The super friendly staff know some basic words and we could get by without having to translate.
