Impossible to miss Chiikawa merch in Hong Kong, so you may as well have dinner at the Chiikawa ramen shop. Greats portion size (I’m so full as of wiriting this) and the little freebies were a joy to collect. Even if you’re not a Chiikawa fan, you will enjoy this! I initially didn’t expect much from the quality of the ramen as my previous experiences with themed restaurants weren’t very good but surprisingly this was the first time where I had a good experience eating the food from a themed restaurant! Service: 5 From the reception, they had explained the rules and the process of ordering very clearly. The counter was friendly and repeated our order for us to double confirm everything was correct. When we were seated, we were asked if we wanted to add-on any more garlic, vegetables, lard or soy sauce. I thought this was a good touch on service to cater to customers needs. I had ordered the Usagi bowl and at first glance I just looked at it in shock. It was a huge bowl that was super filling and even had a cute Usagi fish cake on it. Super beautiful when taking pictures and the entire bowl was flavorful. Although, I neglected the size and was unable to finish the bowl. We had ordered a bottle of white soda which had a similar taste to Calpis and a bottle of Coke which is a little bit sweeter but overall tasted really good, they even allowed us to bring the bottles home! We even received some transparent character cards together with our drinks, I was able to get the Usagi card and was super happy about that. Merchandise: 5 There is an area in the restaurant where you can collect purchased merchandise and the staff in charge of the merchandise area were super friendly and super easy to talk to, they let us inspect our purchased goods one by one to ensure there were no issues on each of them and we were able to go home happy. Overall: 5 I really enjoyed my experience here in Hong Kong’s Chiikawa Ramen Buta and if I ever got the chance to come back to Hong Kong, I would definitely visit again. Kudos to all the staff doing their best to make the experience wonderful for the customers that come to visit. I highly recommend everyone giving it a go if ever they get the chance!
