Visited on a Sunday (Father’s Day) after 8PM, there was no queue and seats are quite available. Ordered Sayur Lodeh, Ngoh Hiang, Honey Pork & Dry Mee Siam. The overall flavour is great and authentic. For me, the best dish was honey pork as the meat was very tender and well coated. Ngoh Hiang is a little pricey but each piece is packed with lots of ingredients! Interior decor is Peranakan themed, nice and comfy. I would revisit to try other dishes in the future. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Visited Chilli Padi Tok Panjang at The Rail Mall for the first time and had a wonderful dining experience. We started with their homemade atchar, which was crunchy, tangy, and a great appetiser. We tried several of their outlet-exclusive dishes, including the Jumbo Chicken Satay, Nonya Pig Stomach Soup, Braised Nonya Chap Chye, Nonya Prawn Mee, and Claypot Beef Rendang Fried Rice. My favourites were the tender and flavourful Chicken Satay, the well-seasoned Chap Chye, and the Nonya Prawn Mee with belacan chilli, which reminded me of a delicious dry laksa. I especially liked that many of the dishes were served in claypots, keeping the food warm throughout the meal. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Peranakan dishes at reasonable prices, making it a great place for family gatherings or meals with friends. To end the meal, we had the Chendol, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. They have Durian or Chempetek topping too. Overall, the food was tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic Peranakan cuisine. A new branch that offers 15% as part of its opening promotion. Social media helped increased its awareness and was in the Q for about 40mins before getting a seat. Food was decent. Portions good for sharing. Staffs probably new but looks lost and keep serving wrong dishes and drinks ordered never came had to remind. Otherwise service was friendly. Taste wise for a Peranakan establishment was ok but I personally would prefer IVINS for it's more authentic taste Price per person: $30–40
