We were referred to this restaurant by a friend and a local, and were met with incredibly rude and disrespectful owners. We were absolutely baffled that restaurant owners could make a guest feel SO unwelcome. We just now walked in to the restaurant where a man and a woman stood amidst a completely empty restaurant - not a single table or chair occupied. We were well before operating hours so I don't know if it's coming in at dinner time (6 p.m) bothered them or the make up of our party (4 adults and 2 kids and an infant) bothered them... or being foreign (my husband is Chilean/Canadian) bothered them... Whatever it is, when we inquired about seating seemed unimpressed we'll be taking up so much space (my parents are Korean we can communicate perfectly fine in the language they spoke) and when we inquired about the menu they told us what we had to order more in order to sit (we wanted to order a small size soup, grilled fish set for 2, live octopus dish and add fish roe and such to the soup). We were talking amongst ourselves saying if we order more it may be too much food (my children are 5 years, 3 years, and 9 months old) when the lady said "fine, it's fine we'll do it" like we were a great inconvenience... To which my mother told me she felt uncomfortable (shocked with the tone of voice and choice of words the lady owner used to speak to us) and the lady then spoke over us talking to each other - "I SAID I'LL DO IT, but if you are uncomfortable just leave" so we promptly left. I honestly do not know what we could have done in less than 10 minutes we were in the restaurant to offend someone to the point of being so upset and feel that their behavior was completely uncalled for... we had yet to even take the baby out of the stroller; We hope to never have such a negative experience again in a country we love and people we (mostly) enjoy within the culture that I wish to pass down onto my children. We also wish that whether you visit this restaurant or not.. others are not treated the way we were for no apparent reason. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
