観光地にあるので人が多く落ち着けない。ホットチョコレートは濃いく、他の店に比べると重い。少し塩を足している？バンコクには他にもいいチョコレート屋があるので、ここだけではなく他も回ってほしい。

Choch@SongWat is a local thai craft chocolate gem as I’m walking down Songwat Road and see a weathered wooden gate, it is tucked away in a renovated vintage building. It is a specialty cafe dedicated entirely to Thai bean-to-bar chocolate. It feels less like a standard cafe and more like an "atelier" for cacao. The shop keeps the raw, industrial soul of the old warehouse district but warms it up with minimal wooden furniture and the rich aroma of roasting cacao. One is given a choice to select a menu of over 10 chocolate varieties with some award winning cocoa. Staff was very knowledgeable in recommending the cocoa with cinnamon being the winner of gold award. However, while not a fan of cinnamon flavour, I have chosen Rayong dark chocolate with fruity taste. Rayong beans hits that "sweet spot" where the bitterness of the cacao is balanced by a natural brightness of its vibrant, fruity acidity. It’s nice though it will be good if the cafe can offer drink of different sizes. The drink comes in one standard size.
