Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000

I visited Bar Choice twice on my trip to Osaka and both times were genuinely wholesome experiences. The bartender / owner, Tomohiro-san is incredibly warm and hospitable, the kind of bartender who remembers you, asks about your day, and makes you feel instantly at home over a glass of whisky, or two. On my second visit I ended up chatting with some of the regulars as well, and they were just as welcoming and curious about my time in Japan. The bar itself is small, cosy and humble, but the atmosphere is full of kindness and good conversation. This little place and the people I met here have become a core part of my Osaka memories. Wishing Tomohiro-san and Bar Choice all the very best. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the city again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
