Choil-Yug (초일육) is a premium Korean barbecue restaurant in the Haeundae beach district of Busan, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. It's located on the second floor of a newer building in the area, so keep an eye out for it. The focus here is on aged, high-quality pork, and you can taste the difference right away. The meat is tender, full of flavor, and grilled to perfection. One thing to note is that the portions are on the smaller side since the quality is the priority, so don't be shy about ordering multiple rounds if you're coming in hungry. That said, it's a great excuse to try different cuts of meat you might not normally go for, and I'd encourage you to do exactly that. Each cut has its own unique flavor and texture, and the staff can help guide you if you're not sure what to pick.
