A very special coffee experience at Choojai Coffee in Jing Jai Market. What makes this place so unique is that the owner grows his own organic coffee beans, roasts them himself, and hand-brews every cup with so much care. You simply choose a cup, take a seat, enjoy the coffee, and pay as you like. Such a simple and genuine concept that makes the whole experience feel very personal. I enjoyed the coffee so much that I ended up buying a bag of his beans to bring home too. Definitely one of the most memorable coffee experiences I had in Chiang Mai. The coffee man who grew, roast, grind and make his own pour over coffee in a bustling weekend market! It’s as much as an experience as it is good coffee. You get a choice of light or medium roast and my favourite was definitely the light. You can sit for as long as you like, and get as many cups as you like - it’s a pay as you wish place. Also sells bags of his own beans and ground coffee as well. A lot of people are frightened to approach or sit down as there are no clear signs but take the leap of faith and good coffee will follow (no sugar or milk, just pour over). He speaks decent English but coffee is a universal language. He is only here on weekends! Saw his stand on a Saturday but not in the exact location marked on google maps. Take your time in finding this place - it’s worth it! Price per person: ฿1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
