近所の人達に長年愛されている感じの小さなフレンチカフェレストラン。 パンも料理も丁寧に作られてて美味しい。お店の人も親切。

Underwhelming food, especially for the price. Portions were pretty large, and no GST, but food was so-so. Desserts are pretty good overall. Good stuff: - Crab bisque was flavourful solid 5/5 - Desserts! Fav was the lemon meringue tart which had good crust and balanced tang. But... That's it. We ordered a lot as a party of 10, so I'll go thru what I thought about each dish: - Personally ordered a duck confit, which failed to have a crispy skin and was a tad dry. Otherwise ok. - French toast didn't hit the spot, bread was too thin, didn't have enough syrup. "Gula melaka" didn't taste like so. Charred bananas were a nice touch though - Tried the (rendang?) beef pie which had a good crust and nice filling, although my friend complained of too many green peas - I only tried the bread bacon and sauce of the eggs Benedict. Hollandaise sauce was overly sour - Croque Monsieur was also ok, ham was pretty good but the cheese and bechamel sauce was lacking Desserts (4.5/5) - Lemon meringue tart was nice as aforementioned: Good crust, balanced tang - Apple crumble was not too sweet, also nice crust - Plain Chou Chou had a tasty dough but it's just flour balls with sugar, so... Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Soup of the Day

We have had a wonderful & enjoyable dinner at Choupinette. The French onion soup and mushroom soup was velvety & smooth. The duck confit & beef short ribs were exceptionally tender & flavorful, especially when paired with red wine. The warm apple tart with ice cream was a perfect ending to a delicious & comforting dinner. Jason was the perfect host & he ensured that we enjoyed our dinner without being rushed. We will definitely be back again for the delicious food & attentive service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
