I went on June 27 with friends. I have been going to Chulo for the past few years and have also ordered food from there for birthdays, school events, and hangout parties. Unfortunately, this time my experience was very disappointing. It seemed like the owner was not present, and the staff behavior and food quality were not up to the usual standard. We ordered samosa chaat, and the dahi (yogurt) in it was warm and sour, which is not how it should be served. I come from an Indian family, and it is definitely not normal for dahi in samosa chaat to taste sour like that. We returned the dish after barely having two spoons because it simply did not taste right. However, the staff still charged us for it on the bill. They insisted that yogurt is supposed to be sour, which was very disappointing to hear. I truly hope the management reads this feedback. Sadly, after this experience, you have lost a loyal customer. I will also be sharing my experience with my friends. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

06/04/26 We visited Chulo at the Temple Street Night Market; my husband and son wanted to try Nepalese food so we ended up here. It was my first time trying this cuisine. I would have enjoyed it more if the food had been served hot. We ordered: * Mutton Curry ($75 HKD): Very flavorful, but it was lukewarm. * Buffalo Momocha ($65 HKD): Glad I tried it! The buffalo meat was delicious. * Mixed Veg Pakora ($50 HKD): Crunchy and delicious. * Soju ($35 HKD) * Blue Girl ($40 HKD) * Mango Lassi ($25 HKD) The items totaled $290 HKD, but we were charged $330 HKD. Not sure what the $40 HKD extra was, our first meal in Hong Kong. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
