I visited Chung Kee Congee during my trip in Hong Kong and had a very pleasant experience. The congee was delicious, warm, and comforting, especially after a long day of walking around the city. The texture was smooth and the ingredients tasted fresh. I also liked that the restaurant had a Thai menu available, which made ordering much easier for Thai visitors and tourists who may not speak Cantonese or Chinese. What impressed me most was the kindness of the staff. Even though their English was limited, they really tried their best to explain the menu and recommend popular dishes in English. Their effort and friendly attitude made the dining experience even more enjoyable and welcoming. The restaurant had a simple local atmosphere, giving an authentic Hong Kong feeling. Prices were reasonable and the food was served quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Yau Ma Tei who wants tasty traditional Hong Kong congee.
