Alchemy is still wonderful, and still there (just 30 metres away from where it used to be, tucked further back from the main road). The new location is intimate, classy and serene...and the food is just as spectacular. The really great ingredient in Alchemy's charm is that it offers lots of unique items that you simply can't find anywhere else in the city (pesto vegetables balls are a great example, or the divine lentil and carrot soup). The owner is an enterprising and friendly young woman who works hard and deserves all the success that this wonderful restaurant has had - and hopefully even more so now that it has the stylish new premises. An absolute must-visit for any vegetarian, vegan and/or tasty-food lovers in Chiang Mai!
