Lovely brunch spot with great food and a cozy atmosphere. The matcha was rich and smooth, the salmon rice bowl was fresh and delicious, and the strawberry parfait was the perfect way to end the meal. Everything was beautifully presented. Would definitely come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a great experience at Citrus Terrace! The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. We were also given two return vouchers, a thoughtful gesture that made us feel appreciated as customers. Zac also had a free ice cream from the lovely host! It’s always nice to discover a new café that offers both good food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend Citrus Terrace to others looking for a relaxing meal and great hospitality! 2-star review: 1 star for the service and 1 star for honoring our reservation. We didn’t have to wait as we had made a reservation in advance. Our reservation was for 12:30 PM, and we placed our order at around 12:35–12:40 PM. The Udon Carbonara was served first at 12:52 PM. The udon noodles were soft and had a pleasant texture, but the carbonara sauce was just average—nothing particularly memorable, and there are definitely better versions available elsewhere. The Potato Chowder arrived at 12:58 PM, after the main dish, which was disappointing as I would have expected the soup to be served before the entrée. The chowder itself was quite bland. The bread served alongside it was the highlight—soft on the inside and nicely toasted. The Enoki Tempura was served at 1:07 PM, which was surprisingly late for an appetizer. I ordered it based on the many positive reviews, but it turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of the meal. The enoki mushrooms were fried in large clumps with an excessively thick batter, making it difficult to taste or even appreciate the mushrooms themselves. Most of the flavor came from the chili seasoning powder, while the dish lacked any distinct taste of its own. The Big Breakfast arrived at 1:13 PM. Ironically, the best component on the plate was the spinach. The mushrooms were hard and cold, as though they had been sitting out for some time before being served. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and had a texture more similar to an omelet. The hash brown was also heavily over-fried, resulting in an overly hard texture. Lastly, the Mentaiko Salmon Don was served at 1:18 PM. It was average at best and didn't stand out in any way. The flavors were acceptable, but there are definitely better versions available elsewhere. If you look at the last photo, you'll see the amount of food left unfinished. It wasn't because we were full—it was simply because most of the dishes were too disappointing to continue eating. Given the long wait times, and underwhelming food quality, the overall dining experience fell well below expectations. I'm not sure whether the kitchen was understaffed, but the pace of food service was noticeably slow throughout our visit. At one point, I observed a table of five where one person had already finished their main course while the rest of the table was still waiting for their food. I also overheard a staff member apologizing to another table that had been waiting at least 30 minutes for their sando. The gap between the first and last main dishes served to our table was 26 minutes, which I personally feel is far too long. By the time the last dish arrived, those who had been served earlier were already well into their meals. If you're planning to visit without a reservation, be prepared for a potentially long wait—not only for a table but also for your food. This could be particularly frustrating for families with young children or anyone hoping for a relaxed and timely dining experience.
