Had a lovely dining experience at Claudine to celebrate my birthday. The service staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. Although the restaurant has an elegant setting, the atmosphere felt relaxed rather than overly formal. The beef tartare was prepared tableside, and I appreciated being able to adjust the seasoning to suit my own taste. The French escargot was enjoyable, though I felt it was missing a little depth of flavour. For the mains, we had the sea bass, which wasn’t on the regular menu. It was beautifully cooked, fresh, and delicious. I love the dessert the most, best way to end the meal. Overall, it was a wonderful meal with great service in a beautiful setting. Claudine Restaurant. Located in the beautiful Dempsey hill, this french brasserie is mentioned in Michelin guide (not awarded star) by Chef Julien Royer. The atmosphere was lovely with open kitchen, converted from old chapel. - KAMPOT PEPPER STEAK FLAMBÉ. This Angus ribeye steak was prepared on the table side and came with bone marrow on pommes frites. The sauce was fantastic. 4.8 stars - CLAUDINE SHARING BOARD. This charcuterie was excellent taste and quality 4.9 stars. Perfectly paired with the cabernet franc wine (domaine des closier). - FRENCH SNAILS IN GARLIC BUTTER. The snail was fresh and well cooked (may need a bit of butter). 4.5 stars - COQUILLETTES COMTÉ TRUFFES. This small pasta plate was very nice with scent of truffle. 4.9 stars - APPLE TART. With vanilla ice cream and drizzle of caramel, this desert menu was outstanding! 4.9 stars. The restaurant has an extensive wine list available in glass, half and full bottle sizes. The service was excellent. Prior Reservation (at least 1 week) is highly recommended. All in all, this is a 4.9 / 5.0 stars restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
