香港で仕事の時に、日本人で集まって何度か行ってますが、いつも気さくな店主さんとご家族なのかでやっているお店！？料理は沢山あって悩みガチだけど、好みによって合う合わないがあるため私達はいつも決まったメニューを注文します。他に行く所が決まってなければ、是非1度お立ち寄りください. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–150 Parking space: Not sure

Clay Pot Indian Restaurant is a true celebration of authentic Indian cuisine and an absolute must-try in Hong Kong. Tucked away above the bustling markets of Fortress Hill, this hidden gem delivers some of the most flavorful and genuine Indian dishes in the city. The use of traditional techniques is evident in every bite—especially in the naan, which is cooked to perfection in a clay oven, giving it that irresistible texture and aroma. Many of the ingredients are sourced directly from the markets below, ensuring exceptional freshness and quality. The service was just as memorable as the food. The owner greeted us warmly and took the time to explain the dishes with genuine passion, creating a welcoming, homely atmosphere reminiscent of a classic “dai pai dong.” Considering the craftsmanship behind each dish, the prices are remarkably affordable. The chicken tikka masala paired with cheese naan was a standout combination—rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. Without a doubt, this is a restaurant worth returning to again and again.
