A bit more casual/no frills compared to some of the cocktail bars springing up but still a good one by any measure. Cocktails and service left nothing to be desired. They have a main saloon, which is more lively, a backroom which is more intimate and an outdoor, balcony type area. The only gripe I might highlight is that they don’t have a kitchen, so they rely on a collaboration with a neighbour for bar snacks. Very limited options and quite pricey, while being served in disposable containers. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Always a fun night at Close Shave with Ian and Ally. Very genuine and warm hospitality, in an intimate space. Went back two weeks in a row! Will definitely be back.
