Regarding the credit card surcharge — this is standard and widely accepted practice across Thailand and internationally. It is clearly communicated to guests and is in no way hidden or deceptive. Many businesses, both large and small, apply this fee to cover processing costs. We make no apology for this. We are deeply concerned by your comment referencing that some of our team members are from Myanmar. SOHO is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We employ a diverse and hardworking team, the majority of whom are Thai nationals, alongside some valued colleagues from Myanmar who contribute enormously to our operation. Singling out the nationality of staff members in a negative review is something we find wholly unacceptable, and we would encourage you to reflect on the intent behind that remark. With regard to the pool — we take water quality very seriously and our maintenance team works diligently to ensure the highest standards. We apologise if your experience on this occasion did not meet expectations, and we can assure you this is not reflective of our normal standards.
