The hostel itself is pretty good. Affordable, helpful staff, good location and secure clean rooms. My partner and I did the 3d 2n tour one night in the hostel and one on the lake. The lake itself is incredible and is worth while going even if you can only fit in a day trip. The activities that we did were all good including a jungle ‘walk’ (I wouldn’t count 30 mins as a trek) visiting a cave and a night safari the day before the lake visit. The staff at the lake are very inattentive and dismissive. Our guide would say we were able to do certain things during free time and then disappear, leaving us with the on-site staff who would sort of shoo you away once they got bored. The meals that were served were all room temp to cold, with a couple of people being sick in the night after dinner. Someone from a previous group and shit ALL OVER one of the stalls which wasn’t cleaned up. There is also poor communication between the hostel and the drivers if you choose to pay for a transfer. This left all members on our bus not knowing what’s going on. This can be somewhat down to a language barrier but our driver was unwilling to use our google translate and would just say ‘OK’ to conflicting stamens. If I am being offered bad customer service but a great product I don’t mind but this was a real negative experience. The two stars are for the hostel and the lake. I would recommend just looking for a different tour.

Stayed at Coco and booked Khao Sok National Park tour through them. The hostel itself is clean and beds are comfy. The National Park tour was fabulous! Such an amazing experience staying in the floating bungalows and exploring the park. The food was also really yummy and plentiful.

Such an amazing hostel!! Super clean and their 5 bed dorms are perfect. They have no large lockers, but they have smaller lockers if you want valuables to lock up. Their breakfast is delicious. Staff is so warm and welcoming. They also have plenty of restrooms and showers, so you will never find yourself waiting. I did the 3day 2 night jungle/ lake package and the value was amazing! Definitely recommend booking. Service: 5
