We did the 3D 2N tour through Coco Khao Sok. The hostel itself is great and the rooms are very well air-conditioned. The night walk and boat rides are also great. Our tour guide was lovely - enjoyed having a laugh, was knowledgeable, and stuck to the schedule. The staff at the hostel were great as well. The crowd was very young - I'm not sure if that was just our experience or if that's the case every tour. No problems though - I understand that's who hostels usually cater to. Safety Concern: When we were swimming in the lake, we were told we needed to wear life jackets, no exceptions. This would have been fine, however the only life jackets available for the entire group were size XL. For me (by far not the skinniest person there either) it went so far above my head in the water that I couldn't see. Life jackets that are too large can be just as unsafe, if not more unsafe, than wearing a life jacket. I'm a good swimmer, and I needed to get out of the water because the only way I could swim in the life jacket was to pull it down hard with my arms. There could easily be a system where multiple sizes are available at the hostel that people select and keep with them while on the island. Instead, the boat is full of size XL life jackets that aren't fitted properly. Service: 5

Booked the floating bungalow tour with Coco and stayed the night prior. We had a blast, the staff were super kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were huge. Amazing porch for games, convos, or chilling. Nice spot in Khao Sok village! The floating bungalows were private accommodation. All meals included and were filling! Service: 5

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. When we arrived at the Khao Sok bus station we took a free taxi/shuttle to the hostel which saved us 20 minutes walking in the heat. Upon arrival the staff were incredibly kind, and informative about what was going to happen the next day for the tour. I booked the overnight floating bungalow stay, and it was the best thing I have done so far on my trip. My group was fantastic, the guide we had was funny, and we saw two wild elephants on the boat safari! While there were points that maybe we could have had longer to do something or we waited a little bit for the boat, overall was well well worth the trip ! Service: 5
